Chana future is expected to trade on mixed note in the coming days due to low supplies as new crop likely to hit the local markets. Overall sentiments look positive for Chana amid expected lower output and duty-free imports allowed till Mar 2015.
NCDEX Chana Apr. futures closed higher yesterday by 0.05% on good demand from the traders in spot market as unseasonal rains might have affected the harvesting of crop. There are also concerns over lower production though weak domestic demand capped further the gain.
