NCDEX CHANA UP 1.4% ON RISING SPOT DEMAND

• Chana prices advanced by 1.44% to Rs 3,463 per quintal as speculators enlarged positions amid rising domestic demand.
• Similarly, the commodity for delivery in January gained Rs 42, or 1.25%, to Rs 3,413 per quintal in 76,560 lots.
• Chana is likely to trade positive for short term as well as intra day with short term support seen at 3280 and resistance at 3550. Intra day support is seen at 3350 and resistance at 3450.
• At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, chana for delivery in February advanced by Rs 49, or 1.44%, to Rs 3,463 per quintal with an open interest of 40,780 lots.

• Soybean futures were trading positive on Wednesday. Bullish trade is predicted for the commodity for short term and intra day.
• NCDEX Soybean January contract gained 0.54% to 3362 levels on Wednesday .
• Soybean January contract is likely to trade bullish for both short term and intra day. Short term support is seen at 3280 and resistance at 3450. “Intra day support is seen at 3340 and and resistance at 3380.
• Soybean plant rates traded higher by Rs 20, quoted at Rs 3,275-3,325/100kg on the Indore market.
• The USDA’s baseline forecast calls for a small decline in 2015 soybean plantings, to 84.0 million acres. Exports are increased 40 million bushels to 1,760 ahead of the South American harvest expected in Feb onwards.

NCDEX CHANA TURNS BULLISH ON IMPROVE DEMAND

MUMBAI Commodity: Chana futures traded on a positive note on improved demand. Moreover, the restricted arrivals of the commodity in the physical market due to lower estimated output also influenced the chana prices.

Higher availability of imported chick peas and liquidation on higher levels are negative factor for the prices.

Chana December contract gained 0.58% to 3141 levels on Friday at India's National Commodity & Derivatives Exchange Limited (NCDEX).

Chana is likely to trade positive for short term and sideways for intra day with short term support seen at 3080 and resistance at 3220.Intra day support is seen at 3110 and resistance at 3160.

The sowing of chana has reached 40.99 lakh hectares against 53.05 lakh hectares last year same time. Coverage of total pulses has been 58.77 lakh hectares against 70.85 lakh hectare last year.

JEERA BULLISH TREND ON RISING DEMAND

MUMBAI(Commodity): Jeera futures are likely to trade higher on rise in demand in major spot-markets. As per market source, temperature which is reportedly higher than crop requirement has slowed down the sowing process in producing states.

Jeera December contract surged up by 1.01 per cent to 12445 on Thursday at India's National Commodity& Derivative Exchange (NCDEX).

Jeera December contract is likely to trade bullish for both short term and intra day. Short term support seen at 12100 and resistance at 12950. Intra day support is seen at 12350 and resistance at 12640.
