Mentha oil prices fell by 0.33% to Rs 811.20 per kg in futures trading today as speculators booked profits at prevailing levels amid a fall in demand in the spot market.
Adequate stocks position on increased supplies from producing belts also put pressure on mentha oil prices.
MCX mentha oil for delivery in April eased by Rs 2.70, or 0.33%, to Rs 811.20 per kg in a business turnover of 62 lots.

Equally, trailing the spot market trend mentha oil MCX futures for March contract also increased by around 4% on w/w basis.Based on the market sources, mentha oil production might decline in the next crop season.
